We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to provide personalized massage therapy services in the comfort and convenience of clients' homes. This role is responsible for delivering exceptional care that promotes relaxation, stress relief, and overall well-being for our postpartum clients. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical skills, excellent communication abilities, and a genuine passion for improving the health and wellness of others through therapeutic touch.
Responsibilities:
Travel to clients’ homes at scheduled times, ensuring punctuality and reliability.
Perform initial consultations to assess client needs, preferences, and any medical conditions or concerns. Tailor massage treatments to address specific client goals, such as pain relief, relaxation, or injury rehabilitation, within the limitations of the home environment.
Adapt massage treatments to accommodate the space and resources available in clients' homes, such as portable massage tables or chairs.
Adapt client's’ massage treatment and duration to accommodate presence and/or needs of baby.
Adhere to industry standards and best practices for hygiene, sanitation, and client confidentiality, both in clients' homes and during travel.
Maintain accurate client records, including treatment notes, client intake forms, and session progress reports, while ensuring the security and privacy of client information.
Offer guidance and education to clients on self-care techniques, stretching exercises, and lifestyle modifications to support their overall well-being, as appropriate for the home setting.
Provide recommendations for follow-up care or additional treatments based on clients' individual needs and treatment outcomes.
Requirements:
Valid state license or certification as a Massage Therapist.
Completion of a recognized massage therapy program from an accredited institution.
Proficiency in a variety of massage techniques and modalities, with a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience.
Reliable transportation and willingness to travel to clients' homes within a designated service area.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to establish rapport and build trust with clients in their home environment. A high level of professionalism is a must.
Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage appointment schedules and travel logistics effectively.
